Kinetics of Grape Seed Oil Epoxidation in Supercritical CO2

چکیده

The epoxidation of grape seed oil in supercritical CO2, to the best our knowledge, has been only superficially described literature, apart from a short communication and own previous published work on topic. In this work, thorough study performance is performed wide range conditions, kinetic parameters vegetable oils are reported for first time literature. experimental covered 40–60 °C temperature at 150 bar, sampling during period 48 h. nature extent side reactions secondary products obtained have evaluated, being hydrolysis their oligomerization derivatives major by-products. Reaction rate constants (10−2 h−1 order) activation energy were finally calculated conversion epoxy yield data establish effect kinetics process.
